2010 Expressway Stakes Nominations

The first lead up race for the Sydney Autumn Racing Festival, the 2010 Expressway Stakes, is being held on Saturday at the Randwick Racecourse with 12 nominations announced for the race.

The Group 2 event for three-year-olds and over hands out $200,000 in prize money with the coveted first spot walking away with $130,000 and a $1,500 trophy.

Local trainer Chris Waller has two nominations for Saturday’s Stakes in Danleigh and Rangirangdoo, with the six-year-old Danleigh coming in on good form.

Anthony Cummings also has two entrants with the five-year-old mare Prima Nova and another five-year-old, Road To Rock.

More Than Great and Centennial Park are both nominated for David Payne with Centennial Park a gelding to look out for coming in on three back-to-back wins.
